Add the property address and any access notes, like a locked side gate or a dog in the yard. If the date you want doesn't suit me, I'll offer the closest one that does.
What the inspection covers
A termite inspection covers the inside of the house, the roof void, the subfloor where there is one, the outside walls and the yard. I look at fences, trees, stumps, garden edging and anything else timber that termites could be feeding on. Where something looks suspicious, I use a Termatrac iTracker to check for movement behind the wall or ceiling without drilling. For rodents, fire ants or general pests, I look for where they're living, how they're getting in and what's drawing them there.
What you get afterwards
I'll walk you through what I found before I leave. If there's activity, you'll get my recommendation and a fixed price for treatment, with no obligation to go ahead. How long does a termite inspection take?
It depends on the size of the house and how easy the roof and subfloor are to reach. I'll give you an idea when I confirm the booking.
Do I need to be home?
It's best if you are, so I can get inside and talk you through what I find. If that's hard, ring 0412 205 586 and we'll sort something out.
Can I book a pre-purchase timber pest report?
I don't do pre-purchase reports. If you're buying, you can book a standard termite inspection and I'll tell you what I find.
